MoveBox
More movement, more interaction, more energy: Testing the MoveBox
Over the past six months, the MoveBox has been tested in ten departments across the university. The microbreak concept encourages employees to take short movement breaks throughout the workday: playing a quick round of soft darts with colleagues, getting up for a moment, sharing a laugh, and then returning to work with renewed energy. The MoveBox was especially well received in the Data Science Lab. There, the “little box” not only encouraged more movement, but also brought variety, spontaneous interactions, and new dynamics into everyday work life, as the photos clearly show.
When asked what comes to mind regarding the MoveBox, employees shared comments such as:
- “Since the little box arrived, the Data Science Lab has been producing three times more — without AI.”
- “Because good ideas don’t always happen in front of a screen.”
- “Because active breaks bring people together.”
The experiences so far show that small breaks can have a big impact — on concentration, team spirit, and wellbeing.
The MoveBox for your department
If your department is also interested in a MoveBox, you can register your interest with no obligation. Whether your department is suitable for the concept will then be assessed together in a second step.
